Content creator and strategist

Freelance copywriter, content strategist and journalist
Hi. Well. So much has changed since I began writing professionally 20 years ago. I've learned and forgotten HTML. I've overseen content migrations, pushed through digital transformations, dealt with crisis comms, I've written countless marketing emails and blogs, created tone of voice guidelines, and interviewed talents like Margaret Atwood and Ed Sheeran for newspapers like the Irish Times and The Guardian.

The constant? I was always, and still am, audience-centred in my approach. That means my client is your customer, and my task is to help you deliver for them.

About me
I'm a Canadian-born Londoner...although Dublin is actually my second home. I graduated LSE with first-class honours, and have been professionally writing ever since.

My journalistic specialties are travel and arts/culture, and that's where most of my free time is spent. If I'm not exploring a new destination, I'm watching TV, at the theatre, or soaking in sounds. I love reading and creative writing too (yup, I'm basically a word nerd).

When I need to switch off, I love to catch up with friends, ideally in an industrial-chic restaurant that serves amazing wine in oversized, fragile glasses, and dishes I've not tried before. I don't ask for much...
